A big THANK YOU to Youth Action Movement PAN who donated over 40 fruit trees to the new Cultural and Ecological Center. The planting of these trees is the first phase of the Ecological Center’s permaculture design which integrates land, resources and people from the community for sustainability and self-sufficiency. The trees were planted by some very passionate volunteers including more than 60 children from Imagina’s Children’s Orchestra. Arborist Monica Elias was kind enough to educate and teach everyone on how to properly plant and care for the trees. With the community’s continued nurturing and commitment, the trees will surely add beauty to the Center’s grounds.
